That being said…how about injecting a splash of seasonal color into you fall leather collar wardrobe.  We have some gorgeous ones…mustard, acorn brown, chocolate raspberry, orange, forest green, gold metallic, even the teal is a warm shade…and of course the ever so popular, sophisticated and elegant, go-with-anything “Black”.

Don’t forget the new gemocite gem studs…very naturalistic and resembling tumbled smooth stones…coming in green, red and purple.

Thank you, as well, for the patience you have had during the month of December 2008. It has been a hectic one to say the least!  One last hurdle to the holidays…UPS will not be providing pickup on New Year’s Eve Day, so there will be a bit of a delay on any collars that we have ready to go out via UPS today.  But they will be shipping out with our regular shipment on Friday, when we return to the office.

Because we’ve developed such a great relationship with Fur Affinity and the folks throwing the convention, Collar Factory is going to have a page in the Conbook.

This is where you come in: We have seen some truly stunning art on our forums, and we’d like to put some of that on our page.

The prize: $35 off your next collar or cuff purchase, credit for your art on the page, and extreme bragging rights. PLUS: After the contest, all entries will be posted on a special, contest-entries-only thread on the forums, because even if we don’t choose your image, we want everyone to see the beautiful work you’ve done.

The guidelines: Show us your character! Well, it doesn’t actually have to be your character, but we would like to see a furry/animated character. PG-rated, please - no nudity, sexuality, or violence. Please depict the character prominently wearing a Collar Factory collar and cuffs, since that’s what it’s all about!

Technical: You may submit your entry in any web-friendly format, but if selected, the graphic must be available to us in vector form (Illustrator) so that we can resize it as needed. Send entries to webmaster@collarfactory.com, with the subject line “Furry United Art Contest Entry.” Please keep all submissions under 2MB.

Due Date: May 1!

Please note: You will receive credit for your art on the page, but we will retain all rights pertaining to the use of the image.
